DON AGOSTINO RELAIS MASSERIA, one of the oldest farmhouses in the Salento region, is located in Martano in the province of Lecce. It rises in the beautiful countryside of the Grecìa Salentina, among the olive trees, fruit trees and cultivated land.
It has 5 rooms of different type, ideal for couples or families. Equipped with every comfort (TV, phone, air conditioning, minifridge, courtesy line, wifi zone, safety box), the large rooms, different in furniture and type, have been renovated in order to enhance the essence of the historicity of the places retracing characteristic moments of Salento culture.

Summary: We had a great time at the Macceria, including our 10 guests. The entrance and feeling is very grand, and overall the renovation and fixtures in the macceria are very good quality. We had a few small issues which were sorted with minimal fuss. We did need to ask for pool towels for all guests and one of the drains was blocked. 3 bedrooms would be considered “king” and 2 smaller, so if you are sharing with friends/family it’s worth noting. Over the 7 days, we did have an issue on a number of occasions where our guests locked their keys in their rooms accidentally (the doors cannot be “unlocked” so accidentally closing the door with keys inside is easy to do). On most occasions we had someone come within 15 minutes to unlock and rooms (at no charge) but a slight inconvenience to guests. By the end of the week most guests we’re on top of this issue. Highly recommended.
